Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
This is a personal portfolio run by one person. It is not a company, it sells nothing, and it has no advertising. This page describes exactly what the site stores and what leaves your browser, no more and no less.
The short version
- No account, no sign-up and no tracking profile is needed to read anything here.
- One cookie is set, and only to remember whether you collapsed the sidebar.
- If you use the chatbot, what you type is sent to an AI provider to produce a reply.
- Nothing is sold, rented or shared for advertising.
Who is responsible
Anchit Tandon, Delhi, India. For anything on this page, including a request to delete something, write to anchit.tandon@gmail.com.
Cookies
This site sets exactly one cookie:
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
sb_collapsed |
Remembers whether you collapsed the navigation sidebar, so the layout is the same when you come back. | 1 year |
It holds a single digit, 0 or 1. It contains no identifier, it is not read by anyone else, and it is set SameSite=Lax so it is not sent from other sites. Because it only stores a display choice you made yourself, it is a strictly functional cookie and does not require consent.
Things stored in your browser
The site also uses your browser's local storage for preferences. This data never leaves your device and is not readable by this site's server:
| Key | What it remembers |
|---|---|
anchit-theme | Light or dark theme |
anchit-motion | Whether you turned animation off |
anchit-sidebar-collapsed | Sidebar state |
anchit-visited | Whether you have been here before, so the intro is not replayed |
anchit-chat-mode, anchit-chat-audio, anchit-tts-local, jarvis-voice | Your chat and voice settings |
anchit-chat-feedback | Any thumbs up or down you gave a chat reply |
cookie-consent | Your answer to the consent banner, so it is not shown again |
lifecycle-os-subject, lifecycle-os-cal-approved, lifecycle-os-retention-data, lifecycle-os-studio-handoff | The brand you last ran Lifecycle OS on, the calendar slots you approved, and any retention numbers you typed in |
signaldesk:state, sd:missed, gs-growth-school | Your progress, quiz answers and notes in the Marketing 101 and Growth School courses |
howto-notes:… | Notes you wrote on a How-To guide step |
freelancer-motion | Whether you turned animation off on the freelance page |
anchit-auth-user | If you sign in with Google on a page that offers it: your name, email address and profile picture, so you stay signed in |
jobhunt-profile:<your email> | The résumé text and portfolio link you save on JobHunt (a résumé usually includes your contact details), so tailored applications can use it |
gram-street-orders, deli-chic-orders | Orders you place on the two demo shop pages, including the name, mobile number, delivery address and any note you typed, so your order reference survives a reload. Up to the last 20. |
Clearing site data in your browser removes all of it.
About the keys in bold, because they are the ones here that can hold contact details. The sign-in and JobHunt keys hold only what you signed in with or typed yourself, stay in your browser, and are removed when you clear site data.
The two order keys. Gram Street Coffee and Deli Chic are demonstration storefronts on this site. If you fill in their order form, what you typed is written to your own browser so the page can show you the reference again. It is not sent anywhere by the page and this site has no server that can read it: the only way it reaches the shop is if you press the WhatsApp button, which opens a message you can read before sending. If you would rather it were not kept, clear site data for this site, or use the form on a private window.
The chatbot and voice features
The chat on this site is answered by a large language model. When you send a message, the text of that message and the recent messages in the same conversation are sent to this site's own serverless function, which forwards them to an AI provider (Anthropic, and where that is unavailable, Google, Groq, Cerebras or OpenRouter) purely to generate the reply. If you use the spoken replies, the reply text is sent to a text-to-speech provider.
I do not store a transcript of your conversation on any server I control. Do not type anything confidential into it, it is a demo on a portfolio, not a secure channel.
Analytics
If, and only if, you accept analytics in the consent banner, the site loads a privacy-preserving analytics script that records page views. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not build a cross-site profile. Decline, and the script is never loaded at all.
You can change your mind at any time using the button at the bottom of this page.
Contact forms
Where this site offers a form, what you type is used only to reply to you. It is not added to a mailing list.
Other people's websites
Pages here link to live projects and third-party sites, and some embed fonts from Google Fonts. Course pages show video thumbnails from YouTube (i.ytimg.com) when the page loads, and play the video from YouTube only when you click it. The avatar on /agent is rendered by D-ID, which receives the reply text it speaks. Pages that offer Google sign-in load Google's sign-in script. Once you follow a link or load an embedded resource, that provider's own privacy policy applies. I have no control over what they collect.
Your rights
You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its processing. In practice there is very little to hold: delete your browser's site data and almost nothing remains. For anything else, email anchit.tandon@gmail.com and I will answer within 30 days.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
